Saint Francis of Assisi is the Patron Saint of animals.

Francis was born in 1182 and died in 1226. He was canonised in 1228. He was the founder of several Francisan Orders such as the Order of Friars Minor and the Order of Saint Clare.

At The Tiny Chapel, the statue of Saint Francis overlooks farmland and a variety of animals such as cattle, donkeys, kangaroos and echidnas. The statue holds a bird bath and native birds such as Rosellas and Willy Wagtails can often be seen bathing in it.
