Today I attended a retreat day in Mulgoa at the Schoenstatt Shrine – run by the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary – originally a German order.
The shrine you see is a replica of the shrine in Germany. When the priest who started the order wanted somewhere to honour Mary he looked at a little building on the property, it was …..a garden shed!!!!!!!
It seems all great shrines start out that way.
